Dr. Salil Manek specializes in the comprehensive evaluation and management of movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, Essential tremor, and Huntington’s disease. He also provides expert assessments for advanced interventions such as Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).
Beyond motor symptoms, Dr. Manek is dedicated to addressing the complexities of gait and cognitive disturbances that often impact the aging population. Guided by the principle that the primary goal of medicine is to enhance Quality of Life (QOL), he prioritizes a collaborative approach to care—ensuring that both patients and their caregivers are central to the decision-making process.
He completed medical school at Texas Tech University School of Medicine, his Neurology Residency at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center, and his Fellowship in Movement Disorders at the University of Southern California-Keck School of Medicine.
